* A yusanbako is a lunch box that consists of three drawers.
As an old custom in Tokushima, children would take yusanbako filled with candy and sushi and play outside on the fourth day of the third month. This unique aspect of Tokushima culture was common among people during the Edo period (1603-1868) in which the yusanbako was used a lunch box for children to enjoy spring, but today it is used to display food.
